The Black Student Association (BSA) is hosting its 33rd Annual Awards Ceremony Friday, March 14, 2025. The event will be on the UT Health Science Center Campus in the Student-Alumni Center (SAC) auditorium beginning at 6:30 pm.

This event is an important tradition for the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) as it presents an opportunity for us to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of our graduating students, as well as provide our diverse University community an opportunity to forge stronger ties of friendship and mutual support. 

Orpheus Triplett, DDS will deliver the keynote address. Dr. Triplett is an accomplished alumnus of Alcorn State University and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. He further honed his clinical expertise by completing a General Practice Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Triplett serves as Associate Dean for Extramural Clinical Education and Community Service and Associate Professor in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry.
