Activity Overview: The Frank M. Norfleet Forum for the Advancement of Health was established at the UT Health Science Center in 1979 through a designated fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis.  The mission of the Norfleet Forum is to focus on the improvement of the health status of the citizens who reside in Memphis / Shelby County, the State of Tennessee, the nation, and the world, through concern for effective health policies and organization.  The 2026 Norfleet Forum will focus on violence prevention.  Multiple sectors including public health, community organizations, and law enforcement will convene to discuss the root causes of violence.  Participants will gain insight on how to develop and utilize methods and strategies needed to effectively treat patients impacted by adverse events.  The brochure will provide you with additional information.
