https://uthsc.edu/research/institutional-cores/mrc/index.phpThe MRC offers high-quality, fast turnaround NGS services, with the customer support your project deserves!
The Molecular Resource Center (MRC) at UTHSC has recently purchased a new Illumina NextSeq 2000 next-generation sequencer to replace the NextSeq 500. The NextSeq 2000 can yield up to 1.2 billion paired end sequence reads and 360 GB of sequence in a single run. This instrument is capable of sequencing up to 60 RNA-seq samples and 4 whole mammalian genomes (at 30x coverage) in a single run, at a substantially reduced price relative to the NextSeq500.
DNA and RNA library preparation pricing has been reduced for FY23. Download the FY23 price list: uthsc.edu/research/institutional-cores/
Your project will benefit from quick turnaround time relative to external vendors. Contact Dr. Bill Taylor to set up a consultation.
"The best reason to use the MRC is their excellent customer support. NGS experiments can be quite complex. The ability to meet in person with core staff to troubleshoot technical and data analysis issues means they provide a level of customer service not available with any outside vendor.”
