Join The Office of Health Disparities Education and Community Engagement and The Office of Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity on Wednesday November 1st at 12:00pm for a Conversations on Health Disparities and lunch session as Fawn Galvan, PT,C/NDT,CPRCS (Paiute/Yaqui) educates us on the Medicine Wheel Nutrition and how Native American adults have a greater chance of having diabetes than any other racial group. This event commemorates Native American Heritage Month and Diabetes Awareness Month. This event is part of the Conversations on Health Disparities series, and is a credit on the Social Determinants of Health Co-Curricular Certificate. It will be offered in person (GEB A102) and via zoom.
