Join us for the launch of the Emergency & Disaster Preparedness Project, an innovative endeavor supported by the NIH/NNLM- Health Informatics- Emergency Preparedness and Response Award. Dr. Sajeesh Kumar (PI), Department of Diagnostic & Health Sciences, College of Health Professions. The project aims to enhance emergency preparedness and response at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) by training selected UTHSC Police and Staff.   

Time: 12:00 to 1:00 PM CST (Be seated by 11:50 AM CST) 

Venue: Freeman Auditorium, 930 Madison Avenue, 3rd Floor, Memphis, TN 

 What to Expect: 

  • Hear about the emergency readiness at UTHSC. 

  • Discover how drone technology will enhance emergency response. 

  • Learn about the diverse training modes and Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) Remote Pilot Certificate training. 

 Lunch: Boxed Lunch for the first-come, first-served!
