August marks National Civility Month, a time to celebrate and recognize the importance of civil behavior. Earlier this year, the UT System announced new policy addressing civility and collegiality. In the coming weeks, OIED will be sponsoring four lectures under a campaign titled “Got Civility?” The overall goal is to promote civility and civil discourse throughout UTHSC to increase intellectual diversity and promote climate facilitating the free and respectful exchange of ideas.
