The Office of Academic, Faculty, and Student Affairs is pleased to share that Kristin Scroggin from “GenWHY Communications” will be on campus on the morning of Tuesday, March 5, 2024 for an engaging development session that is open to all faculty and staff.

Session Objectives:

• Attendees will learn some of the common norms and preferences of each generation on how they prefer to receive and give feedback.
• Attendees will learn the communication medium preferences as well as style preferences for each generation.
• Attendees will learn how to better “lean-in” to common strengths and assist on common weaknesses we see across a generation.
• Attendees will learn more about preferences for training and steps they can take to ensure engagement amongst their teams.
• Attendees will learn some key retention strategies to help reduce turnover across the department.

During the session, individuals will have an opportunity to not only learn but to brainstorm implementation ideas as a group and share them.
