In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, faculty had to quickly pivot face-to-face instruction to a remote environment. Adapting valuable in-person simulation-based learning experiences with virtual experiences tends to be viewed as less effective, yet telesimulation (i.e., simulation delivered in a remote fashion) can be a viable option to consider to deliver simulation-based education. This session will discuss examples of healthcare professional simulations delivered using telesimulation strategies for you to consider for your future simulation activity design.
