The University of Tennessee Health Science Center’s fifth-annual Giving Day is set for Tuesday, April 29th. This 24-hour campaign is a time of philanthropic excitement for the campus and beyond. The university invites members of the community to join in making a gift of any amount to support their favorite fund(s). A number of alumni and others have issued matches and challenges as well, so check out how you can double your gift or help unlock extra money for the colleges on Giving Day. New this year: all gifts made on Giving Day, no matter the area they support, will be matched by an anonymous donor to the new Cancer Discovery Fund. Dollars in this fund will be awarded to faculty and students who want to conduct cancer research. All gifts made on Giving Day directly impact the lives of UT Health Science Center students and help improve health care for those across Tennessee and beyond. Make plans to join in!
