Thursday, October 10, 2019

Self-assessment is an introspective process and strategy to facilitate student self-efficacy and course engagement. A body of literature supports that self-assessment is especially important for health science and medical students to evaluate themselves and improve clinical performance.
In this session, we touch on the research as well as:

• Explore ways in which technology can help us overcome barriers to self-assessment
• Discover five tools you can utilize in Blackboard to support self-assessment from a social constructivist approach
• Engage with assessment tools that integrate seamlessly with the LMS
